Neurala Announces New Vision AI Functionality to Support European Clients at SPS Italia
Today, Neurala, the leader in vision AI software announced the launch of new product features to its vision inspection software suite VIA, which will be on display at SPS Italia in Parma on May 24th – 26th. These new features include the integration of Detector AI models into Neurala VIA Inspector, as well as the addition of the Ethernet/IP communication protocol to the solution. Neurala also announced the upcoming availability of support for PROFINET, specifically in support of its growing European customer base.
Dr. Massimilano Versace, Neurala Co-Founder and CEO, commented, “We are committed to providing the most broadly applicable, robust, and easy to deploy vision AI inspection solution in the market. The addition of detection capabilities to our Inspector software expands its utility to cover more use cases.” Dr. Versace continued, “Similarly, the expansion of our support for more communication protocols underscores our focus on providing an open solution that allows our partners to integrate more easily into customers’ production lines quickly and easily. Together, these new capabilities ensure that our software supports the leading standards in Europe and North America while also providing customers with the confidence that they can standardize on our solution to solve a wide variety of their automation challenges.”
In conjunction with the launch of Inspector’s Detector capability which enables Neurala VIA to tackle use cases requiring part location, picking, and counting, the release of EtherNet/IP expands VIA’s ability to easily integrate into existing machinery, without the need for specialized knowledge. Ethernet/IP is the most common industrial protocol in North America and with the summer 2022 introduction of support for PROFINET, an industry technical standard for data communication over industrial ethernet, Neurala VIA is better able serve both new and existing customers with their native and preferred industrial outputs.
"Visionlink, Neurala's business partner since the beginning of VIA's emergence in the Italian market, is pleased with developments resulting in an increasing number of qualified use cases for the Neurala VIA suite thanks to the new features
specifically in support of its growing European customer base", said Andrea Rossi, CEO of Visionlink.
Neurala will showcase these new capabilities at the SPS Italia tradeshow at Visionlinks booth located in pavillion 5, stand L019 . Additional information can also be found at www.neurala.com.
