Quality Assurance Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a Lead QA Engineer to spearhead our quality assurance efforts. In this role, you will serve as a point person for all product QA, be instrumental in driving the QA lifecycle, developing test strategies, and coordinating a cross-team effort towards delivering high-quality software releases.
Your expertise will ensure the implementation of effective test plans, automation frameworks, and continuous integration processes.

Responsibilities:
Identify, communicate, and track any quality risks, gaps, or issues.
Communicate the status of testing initiatives to the stakeholder groups and lead triage meetings. Set goals, provide feedback on testing tasks, and delegate testing responsibilities.
Drive the continual improvement of the testing infrastructure, tools, and processes.
Establish, document, and enhance QA processes, train team members on those processes.
Own the process of creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance. Define quality metrics and implement measurements to determine test effectiveness, testing efficiency, and measure the overall quality of the Product.
Plan, develop, and execute test strategy across products and platforms.
Work on building a Quality driven culture that helps ship products rapidly and with good confidence.
Act as the primary point of contact for all quality aspects of releases. Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
Work with Team Leads to ensure software QA practices related to Design Reviews and Code Reviews are being performed.
Oversee the development of the System and Integration Test plans. Developing and executing automated tests.
Managing and mentoring the local and remote QA team. Mentor and instruct QA team members, helping them make decisions and solve problems.
Drive the software quality assurance lifecycle within the Agile process.
Establish and coordinate test strategies with development/product teams.
Develop and execute automated tests on real devices and emulators.
Review test results daily and report issues.
Troubleshoot issues in systems under test.
Requirements:
- 5 plus years of hands-on Quality Assurance experience in which you played a key role in building and enhancing a QA function.
- 5 plus years of experience in testing, automation, performance and load and security testing.
- Proficiency testing web and client-server based applications.
- Proficiency with Git, Docker, and CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins, Jira.
- Experience developing test deliverables like test plans, test cases, test data, traceability matrix.
- Experience with product development life cycle and test cycles (e.g. unit, integration, smoke), including test approach and case review.
- Experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test in a production environment.
- Excellent English communication skills, especially written.
- Attention to detail and ability to diagnose complex issues in application testing.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with C++, Python, or JavaScript development is a plus.
- Leadership experience is a plus.
