Neurala is seeking a Director, Product Management to focus on managing the product development lifecycle, developing detailed technical requirements, and supervising the necessary project documentation based on marketing requirements and user feedback, specifically around the Neurala core software infrastructure, app environment, and intelligence algorithms. The Director, Product Management will also be responsible for supporting roadmap planning and proving technical leadership in the marketing and sales of Neurala products. The candidate must enjoy problem solving both independently and in team settings and be willing to acquire technical expertise in the solution. The candidate will be required to perform code development tasks and work with the development team to successfully and timely implement software design plans. Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong decision making ability and attention to detail are equally important.

 Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the executive team and senior leaders across Neurala to ensure the vision for products aligns with broader company strategy; be a passionate advocate for the customer throughout the organization
  • Develop and execute a short term and long term product strategy that supports Neurala’s overall mission
  • Maintain a product roadmap/vision that will take the product from Beta to polished product and beyond
  • Create and manage a set of Key Performance Indicators related to your product lines
  • Work closely with the development team in order to quickly iterate on product features and functionality
  • Work in an Agile Product Development process ranging from 1-3 week sprints by creating well thought-out and consumable user stories
  • Provide training, direction and support to the Neurala’s sales team
  • Educate internal and external stakeholders on value of your products
  • Be the go-to person for competitive offerings and market trends related to your products
  • Perform QA related tasks to ensure quality, on time releases
  • Spend time with the sales team and customers gathering feedback, understanding the customer pain points, and then inject that feedback into the product development lifecycle
  • Presentations and demos to prospects and customers
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Define and implement product support processes including defining support team structure, SLA, uptime, and security
  • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, prototypes, documentation, and product marketing collateral
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact

Required Skills and Experience:

  • BA/BS in a technical discipline Computer Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Masters preferred
  • 6-10 years of work experience, 5+ years in Product Management
  • Experience and success with high-tech products focused on B2B markets
  • Demonstrated success in conceptualizing and launching new products
  • Strong business acumen and professionalism, excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a high-paced and deadline driven environment
  • Collaborative, team player who can influence and drive results through others. Can build strong ongoing relationships with cross capability partners and influencers
  • Experience working with UX teams building SaaS products
  • Development and delivery of solutions in highly technical domains
