The Neurala Technology Platform (NTP) was created by three AI researchers in their search for affordable solutions for efficiently using AI algorithms in their research. Each member provides a unique contribution to the success of the company. Massimiliano Versace, Anatoli Gorchetchnikov and Heather Ames combine over ten years of experience in developing cutting‐edge software solutions for large‐scale, parallel AI algorithms in both academia and industry.

Since the summer of 2006, Neurala has been working with AMD to adapt NTP to run on AMD high performance Firestream™ family of GPUs, achieving peak speedups of over 230 times versus single core CPU implementations. Read more
